130 Center Street is a City of Santa Cruz housing project described as follows:

“Non-residential Demolition Authorization Permit to demolish an existing commercial building, a Density Bonus request to exceed height and Floor Area Ratio and reduce setbacks, and a Special Use Permit, Coastal Permit, and Design Permit to construct a six story, mixed-use building with 233 Single Room Occupancy (SRO) units and 2,618 sq. ft. of ground floor commercial space on a parcel located in the RTC/CZ-O/FP-O (Tourist Residential Beach Commercial/Coastal Zone Overlay/Floodplain Overlay) zone districts and Beach and South of Laurel Area Plan.”
