Santa Cruz County Affordable Housing Month Event Proposal Form
Affordable Housing Month happens throughout the month of May. Affordable Housing Month (AHM) in Santa Cruz County is right around the corner! During the entire month of May, HSCC brings together our region’s housing partners to host virtual workshops, webinars, and creative community engagement opportunities in order to activate and engage our community of housing advocates and the general public around our housing challenges and solutions.
Please note that HSCC may limit the total number of events and will be using the following criteria to guide our process in determining which events we will approve as part of our official HSCC Affordable Housing Month events and eligible for our offerings:
1. Advances HSCC’s mission to ensure Santa Cruz County is an inclusive, thriving, just, diverse, culturally rich and sustainable community by promoting affordable, safe, stable homes for local residents and workers.
2. Is timely, relevant, and engaging to Santa Cruz County residents.
3. Offers unique perspective and approach within the full set of events that will be hosted this year (i.e., no duplicates).
4. Brings diverse set of voices and perspectives into the AHM conversation.
