Homeless Action Partnership / Homeless Emergency Aid Program Funding Report

In 2019, the Homeless Action Partnership of SC County received nearly $10 million in one-time Homeless Emergency Aid Program (HEAP) funds to provide immediate emergency assistance to people experiencing homelessness in Santa Cruz County. The two-year program comes to an end on June 30, 2021. Did HEAP funding impact the lives of people experiencing homelessness? Have more people been served? Where did the money go? What’s next? Please join staff from the Homeless Action Partnership and the County of Santa Cruz Human Service Department’s Housing for Health Division to learn how these dollars were allocated and how they have been spent. This is also an opportunity to learn about the key strategies outlined in the new Housing for a Healthy Santa Cruz County Strategic Framework, and how new funding will be aligned with those strategies.
This virtual event will be held on Thursday, May 27 at 1:30 p.m. Sign up here on Eventbrite to get the Zoom meeting link. This is event is co-sponsored by Smart Solutions to Homelessness.
